If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn’t need to lug around a camera.
Lewis W. Hine (1874-1940)
This quote from the portrait photographer Lewis W. Hine accompanies me on all my walks with the camera. I’m not a storyteller with words. But each of my pictures has its own story. For me as well as for the viewer. If I could tell my stories about the pictures, there would be only this one story. So I leave it to the viewer to decide which story could be behind the pictures.
